REGIONAL DIRECTOR, ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES GROUP, WESTERN NORTH AMERICA

The Hatch Environmental Services Group (ESG) undertakes studies and delivers environmental services in the areas of environmental engineering, Environmental and Socio-economic Impact Assessment, permitting, ESAs, community engagement, sustainability/corporate social responsibility, climate change, indigenous engagement and related project delivery services. Our wealth of engineering, environmental, EPCM project delivery and procurement experience and our global footprint is highly differentiated in the growing environmental services market. We are currently seeking a Regional Director based in Vancouver, and overviewing Western-North America Environmental Services.
This is a senior role and an excellent career opportunity for someone with extensive experience in the environmental consulting community as a recognized environmental professional, who is looking to take the next step in their career development.
This person will have incorporated project and team leadership skills, experience with operational management with equally strong client relationship management and business development skills. The person for this role will be a business leader, team builder and will be able to leverage their network of contacts. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-Secondary education in environmental engineering, engineering science, environmental science, and/or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in construction environmental management, permitting and environmental assessments on major mining, infrastructure or energy projects.
  • Demonstrated business development and client engagement experience.
  • Experience working on major EPCM projects.
  • Willingness for both domestic and international travel as work requires.
  • Ability to lead, mentor and inspire environmental teams.
  • Entrepreneurial with a technical soul.
  • Effective, open communication and presentation style with the ability to plan and deliver best in class, high quality deliverables.
